Pima cotton is grown naturally in Peru and due to its long fibers, is luxurious, exceptionally soft, durable, and highly resistant to pilling.

Pima cotton is harvested entirely by hand, which is not only better for the environment, but better for the cotton itself. Industrial harvesting tears the cotton fibers, giving it a yellow colour and scratchy texture. However, the hand harvesting of Peruvian pima cotton produces a brilliant white shade of whole, smooth cotton which allows the fibers to dye beautifully, keeps them free from impurities, and feels smooth and soft against the skin.

This type of cotton is hypoallergenic, and so is perfect for sensitive skin.
